What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial massage is the manipulation of soft tissue for therapeutic purposes. Remedial massage will help with many minor injuries. If injuries, muscular pain/tension are addressed, it may prevent any further problems developing in that area and improve one’s quality of life.
Massage can treat many minor problems quickly and effectively. The treatments are tailored to individual needs and problem areas.
From the moment the therapists greet you and during the consultation stage of the session, they will be assessing your posture and mechanics. Using the knowledge she has gained over the years from her various therapies, she will combine various sports and remedial massage techniques into the session.
How does Remedial Massage work?
The therapist may use trigger point therapy in her treatments.
The therapist will incorporate other modalities into your remedial/sports treatment to deal with your issue. They will use Manual Lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, hot stone therapy, reflexology and acupressure massage where necessary.
